Who can witness my signatures on paperwork?

If you have any questions about how to send your documents to us, watch this video:

In this video, we explain who can act as a witness for your solicitor’s paperwork when applying for a mortgage. A witness must be over 18, not related to you, uninvolved in the mortgage, and not living with you. Examples include colleagues, neighbours, or friends.

We emphasise the importance of matching your signatures to the provided ID and using black ink to avoid delays. Our team can also witness the paperwork for your convenience.

Don't Just Take Our Word For It...

Don’t just take our word for it…

Lincoln mortgage broker Colin Baxter and his team are passionate about helping clients with mortgages and protection. You can see all of our Google Reviews on our Google Business Page but we’ve listed some across our website.

We also regularly post pictures of cards, cakes and gifts given to us by clients on our social media channels. Testament to the hard work of Colin and our team, the business was originally set up by Colin and his business partner Julie Ashley in 2011. Julie has since retired but Colin and the team are on hand to support with client enquiries.

Colin and the team are always committed to maintaining our high standards.
